Back to work
Since my last post I've been watching the cricket (go on England) and also been to red Bull Air Race (I'll post some images later). The air race was grand. We got great seats to start with but got moved on as it was actually deemed part of the course (oops). The journey back was not the best. We had to stop and drop some people off in Reading and then the M4 was stationary (people travelling back from the Community Shield) so we took a detour. Unfortunately this took us to the A4 through Slough. That place is the armpit of England. The main road through Slough has traffic lights around every 50 yards that must be set up to disrupt the traffic. There are gangs of youths (not that it matters but they are ALL asian) hanging around at every bus stop, cars with pathetically big body kits and stereos booming out making the whole place just a thoroughly awful place. I will never go there again unless I really have to.Since then I've come back to work, same old really. Watched Man Utd win their first competitive match of the season last night and have my parents coming down this weekend and of course the next in the Ashes series!
