Hello

Seems more and more people know of this site now - hi Darren!

West Brom managed to stay up at the weekend. You have to be happy for Captain Marvel. Of the others Harry Redknapp has turned into such a miserable bugger, Ian Dowie would get into the Peter Beardsley 11 every time and Nigel Worthington is a nice enough bloke. Still glad Robbie pulled it off.

As for Man Utd - well, it looks like the Glazer takeover is happening. I think it's all a bit of a storm in a teacup to be honest. I am not convinced very much will change. If SAF goes that could mean we are in real trouble. Sir Bobby Charlton is a pretty good guide as to what is going on too, he is very honest.

That's all for now. Going to see Star Wars Thursday Night / Friday Morning and then of course Saturday is Cup Final Day.

Nina Simone

I cannot believe it's taken me more than 35 years to listen to Nina Simone (well, more than what I've heard on movies). The woman is (was) a genius. Very uplifting but at the same time relaxing music - will be getting some more for sure!

Went to see Kingdom of Heaven at the movies last night. Very good indeed. Also worth a see is Session 9 - a dark affair from Brad Anderson, maker of the Machinist (also excellent). Some big movies coming this summer, Batman Begins, War of the Worlds and of course...Star Wars III.

Apologies

Apologies for the downtime and the lack of updates. The box this is hosted on has been down for a few days and the owner has been nowhere near it. Still, back up and running now. Britian is voting today. Almost certainty that Labur will be back in again but you never know. Liverpool in the Champions League final after one of the worst displays in Champions League semi final history (probably exagerating but they were sooo negative, Chelsea weren't much better to be honest). That's about it for now. Need a weekend to get over the Bank Holiday weekend...
